Hi guys. Listen, first off I'd like to apologize if I got a little overly defensive last time - it's a default mode for me and something I'm always struggling to get past. So I appreciate what everyone was saying and I've thought about some of the things that came up. Thanks for the video links as well Scott - they do help. As to the revenant seeming overpowered, I went over the rules again and the way the abilities are used and it looks to me like everything was kosher. TBH, I think if Colin had rolled well one or to times more, you would have destroyed it (Not that that's your fault Colin ). In future, I'll make sure about all the rules for monsters before the time, I apologize that one snuck up on me. As to the idea of using hero points, I think it will be OK. I will award hero points and you can gain them on level ups, but I'm not going to allow feats, spells and items. You can read up about when to use them and maybe get creative with them if you want. They will not function as a wish spell however . I hope this will help in times of extremely bad rolling. Looking foward to an enjoyable next session.
