After battle banter (4/26)

"Anyone know what those things were? They don't seem natural, and the flying ones really give me the creeps."

[Jack Napier]

"Jack" looks up from his rapier; it and his face and clothes are now clean of monster guts thanks to a prestidigitation. His blue eyes glow faintly.

"Never seen anything like'em. They're kind of cute though... those glowing red eyes that burn to your soul and their healthy teeth. Think we can keep one as a pet? A few of these things tied to trees outside town and the goblins would think twice about attacking."

He gives one of the bodies a good kick and does his best impersonation of the monsters.

"I can't believe I ever thought Sandpoint would be boring.... we better stick close together; no more taking off alone or hanging back. There 're probably more of these bastards shuffling around in the prison area."
